Use

Papite (No. 8) is a mixture of 75% acrolein (Papite) and 25% stannic chloride. Papite is a powerful lachrymatory agent and a lung irritant. The effects on the eyes and throat occur simultaneously. Papite oxides easily and gradually polymerizes into disacryl or acrolein gum (an inactive, gelatinous substance).
